yeah, a lot of **** is run into the ecu, but we didnt want to wire up everything and risk frying something. I'd love to hook up everything, but at least I have a s-chassis that wants a 2j too.. should be fairly easy to convert to the vvti swap and move this 147 swap to the s14. if anyone figures out how to correct these issues, I'll be happy to put them to the test!

also, any possible way to get water temp working again?? I bought the rpm conversion box too and might try to tap into the dash gauge rpm wire with it. if possible, might do something similar for the water temp.

yeah, I just like when all the factory stuff works correctly. So if my A/c has an ecu box, does that mean I lost a/c even though I rewired what I thought I needed?

My outside air temp doesnt work either. It worked fine before the swap. If you can get yours figured out let me know.

When I was planning for my swap, I almost went with the non VVTI swap. The VVTI swap is pretty much plug and play even on my GS430. The only gauge issue I have is with the fuel gauge. When i run down to about a quarter tank of gas, my car starvs for gas and then dies until I fill the tank up. I suspect it could have something to do with the fuel mod I had a shop do.

Hey guys how hard would be to swap the 2jzgte vvti into the 2005 gs specific model.
I've been braking my head on what to do .my car is like brand new always serviced by lexus dealers.
My goal is from 450 to 500 whp for now .everything I see its for 99 gs or early 2000.I got price for internals for 1200.00 plus labor 1500.00 dollars and like everybody knows the entire clip is less than that. Thanks in advance.

I never figured it out and just redo your fuel pickup. sounds like your not getting fuel from the other side of the tank.

Im in the process of doing the exact same swap going non vvti as far as the luxuries and everything my shop is doing my harness and im ordering the AEM EMS V2 with my stock ecu. Another GS300 i know of is using just the standalone aem ems and his gs is remarkable everything works like its supposed to i believe except for his trac but he said theres custom trac control features with the ems that he's working on.
