Everything seems to be intact - even tightened the throttle cable.

I think the process is like put in the redline cleaner when you are at 1/4 tank, drive it till nearly empty. Then fill up.

This way you dont have to wait for a whole tank of gas to finish before the redline cleaner reaches the injectors.
I'll have to give that stuff a shot. Thanks for your input.

The purpose of those fuel injector additives is to reduce carbon build-up. If your car is pinging/running lean then it may help. This will not solve your throttle lag. My hypothesis would be to check your TPS with a Lab Scope. Doing a snap test with a Lab Scope will show you the TPS's glitch. As I mentioned before, if you don't have proper tools, you won't have proper diagnostics.

Have you checked the play on the throttle body where the throttle cable is connected to? Check the mechanism that its connected to. I forgot what it's called.
