My friend's IS300 with supercharger!
Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum. So glad to find here to read good info.
Recently, my friend made a risky decision. He decided to go for a sc'ed car.
Without much consideration, he did choose ARMA. But I have to admit ARMA seems to have a well R&D department. The kit is complete, including intercooler, ECU, piping...etc. They're molded nicely and installed without issues into the car.
Their technician installed the kit and tuned the fuel injection by connecting a air-fuel ratio meter. Then he reminded the local tuner some maintenance details.
I went with my friend to have a test drive. But the technician told my friend it will take a break-in period, so we'd better not go past 4k rpm until after this period.
Start the engine and speed it up, then came out a beautiful whine. Even though initial response felt the car was a bit slower than the stock one, after 3000 rpm, it pulled crazily to the redline. (not care about the break-in period...LOL)
If there's any technical advice on the sc setup will be appreciated. I can give my friend some useful suggestions.
I took some candid pics to share with you guys.

Cool project, very interesting. What ECU/management is being used to tune with?
BTW, you'll want the mods to move this to the 2IS performance section.

Wow, that's cool,I think it's the only one supercharger kits for IS, their pipe and intercooler looks so clean, nice. How much about this kits??
Did this kits also fit my IS 250? If yes I think I am in when my warranty was end.

Not sure the details on this specific kit. So I can't chime in anymore... Besides the people who tuned the car are there anymore tuners in your area? They'll be able to help you more direct.
But I agree we always want more!

sorry but how **** is that injector setup.
but, putting 4 injectors into the intake instead of replacing the standard items?????
engine fire here i come, like 1980's back yard gas injection setups.
change, more like remove the intake injectors and replace the the standard injectors for larger units.
other than that good work on the rest of the setup
