I just cut a hole on the lower box on my IS350 and sounds nice. I was wondering what would be the best air filter. K&N, Green filter or F-Sport.

I'd personally recommend the F-Sport since it's not oiled and it's an OEM product.

How do you clean the F-Sport. Also would the MPG increase cause I normally always get about 1 mpg more with the K&N.

The air filter (any brand) sits in front of the airflow sensor. So it's impossible for it to change your gas mileage.

The car injects fuel based on the data from the MAF sensor, the throttle, the IAT sensor, and the O2 sensors, all as compared to the maps in the ECU.

The air filter doesn't impact any of this unless it's clogged and starving the engine.

What usually happens is someone has a dirty stock filter, and replaces it with a clean K&N, and they "magically" think they get better mileage.

If a $30 air filter change could measurably improve mileage it would've come that way from the factory to improve fleet CAFE numbers.
