This was a lengthly process to acquire all the knowledged.. but since I know what to do now.. it's not that bad.. but for someone who's new.. it will be a painful process..
Panther28.. if you can provide me with your CEL code.. then I can help.. if you don't know how to get the code.. you will either have to buy a cheap OBD II reader or get the code from AutoZone, etc..

It would be tough getting the code, let me know where did u buy the simulator and how to setup I am pretty sure what you did will resolve my issue. The lights are annoying

Well.. if the CEL code is not the correct one then adding an O2 simulator will not solved your problem..

I got this

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Universal-Oxygen-...item33643152f6

You don't have to buy from this buyer.. search other buyers..

You will want to buy an OBD II reader.. this will help if you have problem with the installation..

this is what the o2 sim from that ebay link says it does. It seems normal.

After several days.. the O2 sensor heater failed and throwing CEL with P0057.. the simulator still is fine.. this is second O2 sensor that has failed on the driver sider only.. I have brought another O2 sensor.. but has not install it. Why are the O2 sensors failing so often? I am now consider now installing High-flow cats..

I installed PPE Headers (w/o high flow cats) onto my 2006 IS350 a few weeks ago; no CEL or VSC, no o2 simulators needed, just the included PPE O2 extenders.

I did the same.. after about 1 month and maybe because of the cold weather... Hell broke loose and nothing but CELL.

Just installed the High Flow Cat, and replaced the 2 O2 sensors (both failed due to heater failure)... maybe it was due to cold/moisture.. running for 2 days without CEL.

It has been 1 week with the High Flow Cat (HFC) and 2 new O2 sensors.. no CEL..

But what I have noticed.. is the sound of header is not longer as raspy as before.. and a little more quiet.. I definetly like the sound without HFC.. it's so much more raw and unique.. it was an angry beast without the HFC.

Does the PPE Headers still have O2 sensor issues?
This is the only thing from holding me to buy these..

I heard their coming out with a new version that doesn't have any problems soon?
