Default *** Got My PHR Turbo IS300!!! ***

Let me just say. The car is insane!! I had a 5 hour drive home it was too much fun. PHR did an amazing job on the every aspect of the car. Jarrett pays attention to every detail including making sure the car looked the way it did when I dropped it off. The looks are breathtaking and the power is insane! Well here we go with the all info. Check my signature for pics, dynos, etc. or click:
http://photos.yahoo.com/weatherman_lr

Once again, my kit includes:

- PHR cast-steel exhaust manifold
- external wastegate
- PHR GT60 series turbocharger
- 3" downpipe
- air intake piping with K&N air filter
- PHR fuel system upgrade (including 550 cc injectors, Supra TT fuel
pump, fuel regulator, ...)
- Large Spearco front-mounted intercooler with 2.5" intercooler plumbing
- PHR 3mm metal head gasket
- HKS EVC IV - Silver (Limited Edition) Boost Controller
- PHR Engine Management

In addition, I have a HKS Carbon Fiber Titanium exhaust and Apexi EL II Gauges.

The computer is not standalone, but the PHR Engine Management computer. So, we are pulling these kind of numbers without standalone which is a big deal to me.

The boost kicks in near 2000 rpm and is full boost by about 3500 rpm, which is very good considering we have dropped the compression. From the dyno, you will notice that the torque curve is very flat from 3700 rpm up to redline which is very good. This makes the car pull like mad for a while! We dyno'd the car at 12 psi and got 413 rwhp and then the clutch smoked, so we stopped there since I am on stock clutch. We will be doing some new things in the next few weeks and we will push the 500 rwhp mark. Remember, these numbers are not with stock 17's, but with my 18's!!!

Just a quick kills story. On the way home, a WRX pulled on me. I revved on him and he matted it! So, I got on the gas and woosh!!! I massacred (SMACK) the WRX (SMACK)! By the time I hit 80 (from around 60) I already had like two car lengths on him! I let him catch-up and he just looked at me with a smurk on his face (SMACK). It was too much fun!!!

I promise you the car should have been built this way. It just loves the boost and sounds amazing when the boost kicks in. The tranny still shifts like butter and we have no problems at all. The clutch is a different story. If the clutch hadn't smoked, we would have pulled at least upper 400 rwhp numbers, but that is still on the icebox ... for now.

Very clean job. Almost looks like it could be manufactured direct from Lexus that way. Congrats!

Thanks guys, I am loving it!! Remember you can check it out on August 17th at the Dallas/Fort Worth meet! There will likely be two 500+rwhp IS300's there. Not sure who they are though

Wow, that Stage 2 PHR Turbo kit looks very clean. Looks like an aftermarket "Lexus" turbo kit(I wish they had one hehe ). Once again, PHR pulls off with very professional work.

Thumbs up

Hey Turbo'd_Wxman, Let me just start off by saying that you've got that car lookin real good man. I love those front brake calipers and I've been trying to think of ways I can get that done myself. Can You tell me how u got the "Lexus" painted on them. Did you paint then put on a sticker then clear coat or did you paint, clear coat, put on sticker, then clear coat again...
