Default F-Sport exhaust on IS250?

I have an 08 IS250 automatic and I wanted to put the F-sport exhaust on it, but for the price I wasn't sure if it's really worth it. Any suggestions?

What price are you not sure about? With the current promotion, you can get it for around $900 shipped. That's a steal.

On the other hand, for less than half of $900 you can get a used Tanabe exhaust that'll add exactly the same horsepower, but be significantly quieter.

If the louder exhaust is worth the price difference to you then it's "worth" it, but that's not really something anyone else can tell you.

Personally if I was gonna drop around 1k on an exhaust I'd just go whole hog for a bit more and put the Joe Z exhaust on there for the few extra hp it provides over the F-sport.

I have read reviews where the F Sport is definitely worth the looks, but is loud. I installed Tanabe Medallion Touring on my 01 GS300 and it claimed to be quiet, but it was loud which was cool, but sometimes just gave me a headache. The exhaust was certainly beautiful. Before I sold the car, I put the original exhaust back on and man was it nice to have a quiet car until you really stomped on the gas.

Got a used f sport for $500 from a fellow member. Here is a clip of me driving around with it. I have an aftermarket resonator, magnaflow, on it so it will be quieter if you have a stock resonator.

I would watch a lot of youtube videos before pulling the trigger.. such as this one ^^^ I had it on my IS250 with the f sport intake.. It sounds very nice when your WOT (wide open throttle) but i found it annoying in and around town when your not "pinning it". I just found that with the IS250 it makes more noise then anything (stupid loud when your only accelerating to in-town speeds).. When your getting on a highway and you floor it it sounds awesome especially when you get up over 3000rpm and the intake really gets going... Personnally I wouldn't install it again on my old IS250.
I've heard they sounda bit different on a 350 so
