I had an absolutely clean record until those two tickets. I was doing nothing wrong and got specifically pulled over "illegal tints" ( had 35% in front when law only allows 55%) and "illegal exhaust." This was in the city of Fairfax, by a Fairfax county cop. F sport and the Lexus HKS should be legal as they are both factory made exhausts. I'm curious to see how F sport exhaust + f sport intake + Megan mid-pipe will sound together as Ive noticed Megan mid-pipes to give a deeper sound to the car while invidia mi-pipes give a louder, but graspier sound.

Cant speak for VA law (dont want to go read it), but WA law says not "above that emitted by the muffler originally installed on the vehicle".
As long as you have a car that came equipped from the manufacturer, your covered. (F-sport Editions are new to 2010, right?)
Also, new cars sold in the US must meet certain Federal standards including Decibel levels. May be that the F-sport Editions still fall under this level or possibly that the f-sport exhaust yo buy and bolt on is completely different?

BTW, I have a 1975 "heavy half" pickup(3/4 ton chassis on 1/2 ton axles), than I have to keep a copy of the factory specs, cause all emissions testing stations say all 3/4 ton trucks of that year came with a cat! GMC used the half ton axles to get around that law for one year, and Ive had to prove it to avoid a emissions citation! Lesson - keep your factory papers!

They are pretty big, but they look nice if you have a body kit on the car! Otherwise, if they're on your car just stock, sometimes they look like a 100lb woman with gigantic *****.
What rear piece is that for your body kit? I realllllly like it.
