Default Tanabe MT Exhaust Installation Question

Hello Folks,

I just got my Tanabe MT Exhaust today. Trying to put it on tomorrow. But before i do anything i would like to ask everybody here first -

1. Anything i should be aware of?

2. What kind of tools should i prepare?

3. I will work with one of my best friend, but using jacks normally how long will it take?

4. Do i need to purchase new gasket for it?

Sorry for so many questions.

Thanks for looking and appreciate your answers

take in mind i did this by myself and in 2006 and on a is350. from what i remember
1. taking those rubber hanger things off the stock exhaust sucks, takes a bit of fanagling.
2. please don't use the stock jack/ widow maker alone
3. see number 2. use proper jack stands.
4. i don't believe so.

also it will take a few miles before that thing settles in and the tone will get a tad louder from new.

Honestly, get a set of rhino ramps. Back on to em. No need to mess with jacks or jackstands.

Whole job takes maybe 20-30 minutes if you take your time... can probably be done in 10-15 minutes by somebody who has done it before.

Thanks so much for your answer. I won't use the stock jack, we have different jack.

You're absolutely right. I should just get a set of Rhino Ramps instead of jacks. it makes the job eaiser.

Hopefully everything go smooth.

Thanks a lot man

Exhaust installed today, Thanks a lot folks.

overall spent about 20 minutes with my friend's help. Have the same issue like most other CL Members. The driver side tip is longer and lower than the passenger side. But not a big deal for me. Now i need a rear lip for sure ^^!
