Default My build has began!!!

I got my 2jz gte vvti engine last week.. Today start doing a little weight reduction on it.. here's some pic's I'm looking to get 500rwhp.. All my other stuff should be coming in this week.. I hope to have the engine fully built and running by next weekend.. My boy Jerry is doing all the hard work.. He's the man when it comes to toyota engines,.. Thanks take care..


I thought I would have my car ready sooner but just haven't had much time.. Also Been waiting for my parts to come in..
Here's the mod list
Gt35R turbo
DM throttle body
Power house racing map ecu 2
750 Denso injectors
Apexi ws2 exhaust
Brian crower 264 cams and retainer kit
Hks gasket
tial wastegate
hks blow off vavle
Hks fuel rail..

Also getting the head resurfaced this weekend.. That all the progress right now.. And added some chrome and colors

Update, got the head rebuilt with upgrades!!!! Right now the block is bare.. Saturday will be fully finished and ready to drop!!!!! Once again my boy jerry came through, with hook my engine up...

Gs300, I believe the psi on the gte is 11.5..

Thanks jadu!!.. This week is going to be painting and cleaning up the engine..

Going to be tough hitting 500whp on stock cams through the auto trans without some sort of additional power adder/racegas/timing control (assuming your going single). What are you doing for fuel?

I will be running 264 cams, with a gt35r, hks fuel rail, 750 injectors, the power house racing map ecu 2... I'm looking for low end to meduim horse power.. Thanks guys...

I don't think the Map ECU is going to cut it, I'd do standalone at this point. Good luck on your project!

No one offers a pnp standalone for the GS3 w/2jZ-GTE w/VVTi; unless he goes Hks F-Con Vpro. I too plan to do the same thing into a 2003 GS3 shortly; but I plan to keep it stock twins until they blow.

Yeah that's the engine going in my car.... That map ecu 2 is being run on some 800 hp cars with no problem...
