Thanks Sakataj, you are right. When I went back I saw that the number was here, just not explicitly saying for which models. Later I opened the timing belt cover and the ocv had 15330-46010 stamped on it. 15330-46010 or 15330-46011 is what I need. The thread you pointed to above was very helpful. I saw so many threads for P1349 I lost track of them. I hope changing the OCV and cleaning/changing the filter solves the problems. By the way, the other code I have is P0430 - Catalyst System efficiency below treshold Bank 2. I wonder if that will go away too. Hopefully I won't have to replace the catalytic converter.

I have a 1998 GS400 with 175k and I'm having the same issue as the OP which is P1346 VVT Sensor/Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance problem (Bank 1) P1349 VVT System Malfunction P0300 Random Misfire detected..VSC light VSC off light on the dash.

The car has been shaking and rough idling at stops for awhile before all this stuff came on yesterday. I don't know if the timing belt has been changed because there is no service records. The plugs look good still.

What should I do, buy the Oil Control Valve and filter? Buy the Cam Position Sensor? Change the timing belt and what else is needed for the process?

I'm confused and any help would be great.

When my OCV went bad, I could unplug it and the car would run okay (wouldn't hesitate or have the issues it was having), but the CEL obviously came on. Replaced OCV with new one and BAM no issues.
