someboy- i think you generalized your own experience too much there buddy
don't assume that every 250 owners are students or they have limited budget
I personally did a huge downgrade,,250 is WAY WAY WAY~~~~slower than G35 6MT,,
and 350 was also little slower
I think we will have to wait till AFTER SEMA for some numbers

Sorry about that OT response, but hearing someone say a IS350 is slower than a G35 is absurd unless the G35 has some good mods. I have never lost to a G35 and I have lined up again a LOT of them. (That includes when I was stock)

AFAIK Windex is running a manually-triggered 100 shot with absolutely no safety equipment. If he adds a kit like this to his current setup it's more likely to be "game over" for his engine.

350s DESTROY G35s.. Unless your G35 was all modded out, you are not faster than a 350.

and I know 350s are faster than G35 in general
I guess I was trying to say that G35 owners have many different performance options to add in order to make their car real FAST
I guess you've always raced stock or slightly modded G35
but you already know heavily modded G35 is FAST
anyways,,that was way off topic,,and I guess I shouldn't had mentioned anything about G35 lol

wow... what happened to this thread??? not everything is about racing...
Some of the finest 2IS show cars here in hawaii are 250's, in a parking lot they will put any 350/F owner to shame, including myself.

For example, let's say in the fashion world. People go by having top notch brands so that they can flaunt it. (Like putting FI in a IS250) You think it matters if their nice looking coat keeps them warm? (Add as much HP) Nope, as long as it makes them look good, that's all that matters.

This one was a different IS from the show. It had the sweetest audio set-up i've ever seen. It also had a TOM's supercharger.
For me personally, I like to go fast as much as the next guy, but when it comes down to it, I'm more about looks!

I agree. Its not just about how fast you can go. Regardless if you have a 250, 350, or F. I honestly would want a S/C or Turbo just so I could roll up into shows and say I have boost. Being fast is one thing, but having a car that is visually stunning inside and out is another.

BTW, the second car with sick sound system is
josephdoc's IS350
one and the only Tom's SC IS350
