Default PPE IS350 Headers

Sorry about the delay guys... I think the results were TOTALLY worth the wait though!

Name: DynoSheet.jpg
Views: 3965
Size: 68.0 KB

BEFORE HEADERS - 265rwhp and 232 ft. lbs torque

AFTER HEADERS - 286rwhp and 246 ft. lbs torque

GAIN = +21rwhp and +14 ft. lbs torque.

Both runs were done on pump 91 gas from QuikTrip.

I am SO pleased with these numbers and so is PPE. We are also gonna keep looking for someone who might be able to tune this car. If we can raise the rev limiter we're sure the HP will keep rising, especially with the way the graph reads and the hp goes up.

Thanks again for all the support everyone! These results are so much more than anyone expected!! Let me know if anyone has any questions..

EDIT: I posted this later in the thread as well:

Alright, so I got it straightened out from PPE and where I got 21rwhp from..

At the dyno, the run showed a graph with a peak spike at 286RWHP. Once the computer smoothed out the graph to show what it shows, it printed a peak of 281. Ultimately you can expect a gain of 16-21RWHP.

The peak number hit during MY dyno was 286RWHP, which is where I got that number from.

From what I was told, VERY VERY affordable, especially for 21RWHP. And I am pretty sure the pre-order price will be a very good discount as well.
sure proved a lot of people wrong.. I want to hear what kind of BS they have to say about this now..

How hard was installation?

It definitely feels faster.. I walked away from a new 135i, however I'm not sure how I would have done before I got them cause I've never run against one before.

From what I was told, tight but not hard. Another question you'll have to contact PPE about though .

This is VERY exciting! More details, my friend!

I'm interested in the difference in sound, the difficulty of the installation, and your impression of the vehicle's performance. Also, how did PPE get around the CEL? I remember hearing nothing but issues with the O2 sim for the Mazzuri headers.

Thanks for bringing us another option!

We replaced the stock CATs with high-flow CATs and I haven't had a CEL since getting the car back. As far as I know they didn't do anything special with the O2 sensors, however I will have to double-check that.

There is a deeper tone now overall and the car is definitely a little louder now.

Difficulty of installation is something you would need to email PPE about. From what they told me, it will be a semi-hard install, but not an impossible one. Definitely will be a LOT easier with a lift though I'm sure.

And I'm glad I could help out!

Wow, sorry guys, I just realized I mixed up my numbers. I fixed it though.

It's actually 16rwhp gain not 21rwhp.. I have NO idea where I got 21 from.

Anyways, sorry about that..

16 WHP is still a lot for headers regardless. I was expecting at most 10 WHP.

Guys, let's keep discussions about group buys, pricing, etc out of this thread please or it will be closed.

JB, check your PM coming shortly to get ppe signed up to be a forum vendor, thanks. Appreciate you being the guinea pig and working on this with them for everyone!
