Default GS300 Heatshield

Hi Guys, I just got done with the first production proto for the IS300 and it should fit the GS300 as well. Targeting a $100 price tag, this heatshield is made from 16ga 5052 Aluminum and the F braces acts to really make this a rattle free device. Based on testing this should reduce intake temps between 20-30 degrees depending on ambient conditions and install could not be easier. Just loosen the rear bolt that holds the ground and hose clamp, slide the sheild onto the bolt, install the front bolt and tighten both. Intake removal is not required. Please give me feedback on what you GS guys think.
Partial anodizing will be avaiable at a later time. I am just building the first 5 units at the moment.

I would give one of these a try... even though I don't have a CAI, or any tuning for that matter... but eh... why not.

Wow. Send me an email and/or PM when this is available (Loh_Ji@yahoo.com). A friend of mine, as well as myself, would be very interested in this!

I still need to take a peak at what can be done for the 8. I have a test car in the springs to look at, things are pretty tight.

I should have these heatshields ready in two weeks for General Avail. Still working out the process for the first 5.

Looks great. Nice engineering. Is a 20-30 degree drop in temperature enough to make a noticeable performance difference in conjunction with an SRT or CAI? I know the cooler the better but was curious if this mod would be noticed in the accelaration? Thanks.

Awesome! I've been waiting for this. Are there any other color schemes or just the black and blue?

I can check shipping to FRA, one problem with international shipping is that the box is 24 x 12x12 and this is oversized. The box is light, but can be pretty steep to ship via USPS.
