question about GS300 bolting on turbo..
Say I have a turbo manifold designed for the GS300's 2JZ-GE, and a GT2835 turbine. How hard will it be from there on to custom a turbo kit? I think the hardest part is to have a turbo manifold that works. If that's taken care of, what else will be hard? Piping? ECU?
any inputs will be appreciated.

It's just that I found someone who actually made a turbo manifold for the 2JZ-GE. It's still costly for that part, but I think it should be much cheaper than custom-fabrication from like XS or other shops here. And it's also from a very respectable tuner in Japan

If your...
If your mech. inclined then none of its hard, just time consuming.
IMO that GT2835 will be way to small.yes you will have full boost early but then the boost will spike because you cant allow the wastegate to open enough for the boost to drop properly.
You will need to supply aditional fuel, by way of a boost dependant fuel pressure reg which I dont recomend or way of an additional injector controler or DFI etc....

Globe I will be watching this thread very closely as I am strongly cosidering selling my GS400 and buying a 300 and turboing it. I wouldn't mind having a setup like the guy who had a "GSV300". It was posted a short while back by someone. I believe Dennis(wheel kinetics) said that car had 830hp. It had huge Garret turbos done by HKS:eek: Also a $5500-$7500 stage I Toyomoto setup might be an option to start with.

Right, Toysport that's who did it. I forgot who posted it. So they are not a good company huh. Well then maybe this thread will lead to a better way, if not get Toyomoto on the phone.

the future holds a GTE swap for me but i dont know if i should add a small turbo kit now or just do NOS, kill my engine and then get the GTE....
a turbo kit would probobly be way to expensive considering i was getting rid of it later so i'll probobly go for NOS
ray i think u could run anything under 400HP without changing much mechanically with teh fuel.... then u would need bigger or additional injectors
S-AFC can only tune 50% more fuel so thats what 300HP? for more power the greddy computer can do 100% more fuel so that would be the full capacity of the injectors....
also you need oil to and from the turbo, a downpipe and thats about it

Toysport is very shady. Do not trust JOEL LUZ under any circumstances. His car doesn't run 835hp. Whoever reported the numbers is blowing out of his/her as_. The car does not run. BS!
