Default Turbo Kit

Alright, thanks for taking the time to read this.

I have recently inherited a 2001 GS300 from my father, coming from the 1995 Toyota Avalon its a big step up! in expectation for this wonderful vehicle i have been looking around the past few months at a turbo kit, with no expertise in the matter, (i'm a complete idiot when it comes to cars) i have found no definite answer. I've come to you guys for the name and price of a complete kit, that is compatible with my car, i have a garage but no kit lined up, i'm looking at spending no more than 5 grand on a kit, any help that puts me in the right direction is appreciated!

the kit is obviously gonna be the big initial expense, but to be able to get the turbo'd motor running correctly there all the unlisted things you will also need such as engine/fuel management and things like that, that would be on top of the price of the initial turbo kit

- Cost of kits w/installation
- 2jz-USDM USDM swap
- 2jz-GTE JDM swap

Send me your e-mail by PM and I'll send it over to you.

ITs the same motor as the IS esentialy you can find kits for sale all the time for 2-3k usally and superchargers even less they are used but barely you just have to make sure the parts are quality. I dunno the gs that well but im pretty sure you can used a turbo kit for a IS on one.

if you can dish out about 6k for a complelte kit, go for the Swift Racing kit. It has everything you need except a boost controller. Check them out. www.swiftracing.com

Here's an invoice for a customers car I did recently. Just a list so you know what you're getting yourself involved in financially. Also, I have the most reasonable prices compared to anyone else . If you do it at any other shop it will easily cost you thousands more. Keep in mind a setup like this can easily walk pretty much any car on the road. With 600rwhp, that would be equivalent to around 700-720hp at the engine due to the power loss through an automatic transmission. Not too many 4 door sedans out there with this kind of power though

He puts down around 600rwhp daily, but he gave me a set of pistons/rods to install so he could run more power in the future. He is still on stock cams so thats why the power is so low. The transmission is also the limiting factor because it can only hold around 700rwhp at the most. The engine itself is strong enough to hold around 1000hp. The price for the pistons/rods weren't included because he bought them himself, also labor for installing the pistons/rods wasn't added in this invoice. Those two would add about $1800 or so on top of the price on this list. So it puts you pretty close to $10k.

Labor:
$1500 Engine Removal + Rebuild + Reinstallation. Includes the following:
- Pull engine out of car
- Drain all fluids
- Complete teardown of engine for clean up and inspection.
- Install Cometic 2.0mm head gasket.
- Install new spark plugs.
- Install ARP head studs and torque to spec.
- Install timing belt and re-time engine.
- Install turbo oil feed and return lines with new fittings.
- Install new fuel injectors, includes replacing injector connector to fit new injectors.
- Weld bung onto upper oil pan for return oil line
- Fill engine with new oil and install new oil filter.
- Reinstall engine into vehicle.
- Modify fuel pump hanger in gas tank for return feed system and install upgraded pump.
- Run new fuel line from gas tank to fuel pressure regulator & install regulator in engine bay.
- Option not included in total $500 Install new pistons, rods, & bearings.

$1000 Transmission Upgrade Including Parts. Includes the following:
- Change out seals
- Put in new upgraded clutch packs
- Install upgraded 3rd gear sprag
- Valve body modification for firmer shifts
- Option not included in total $400. Cryo Treat all transmission internal parts.

$250 Custom Fabricate Intercooler Piping
$600 Install AEM EMS into car & Street tune car for drivability and full boost power.

Total Labor Cost: $3350.00

Parts:
$1650 AEM EMS Standalone
$800 Precision 67mm Turbo
$150 2JZ-GE Turbo Manifold
$350 Tial V44 Wastegate
$350 RC Engineering 720cc Fuel Injectors
$135 HKS SSQV Blow off valve
$200 Headgasket
$135 Headstuds
$150 Intercooler
$150 Aluminum Intercooler Piping + Stainless T-bolt clamps + 4ply silicone hose couplers
$150 Oil Lines, AN fittings, and oil flanges
$150 Walbro Fuel Pump & in tank bulk head fittings
$150 Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
$100 Fuel line and fittings for return line

$53 Engine Oil: 6QTS Amsoil AFLQT-EA 5w-40 Synthetic Engine Oil @ $8.80/qt
