I also using Fujitsubo Exhaust with my IS250 RWD. The sound was not too loud but generate deeper bass sound than stock exhaust. The finish is pretty than other brand. At here, I bought this Fujitsubo Exhaust at 60,000 Baht or around $1,740.

are both toms and espelir quieter than the the tanabe? I'm looking for the quietest possible axle back. i've heard people say that the Lexus HKS / F-Sport are quieter than the Tanabe, same with the Fujitsubo Legalis R and Blitz. I've even read some posts on here saying that the magnaflow is quieter than the Tanabe!!

Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on this board for a while now.. looking to get ppe headers and a full catback exhaust and happened upon this thread. Don't want to threadjack but what is the general consensus about Megan OE-RS full Cat back vs megan or invidia midpipe + tanabe MT?

Prices on ebay are about 800 for megan OE-RS and 1100 for invidia + tanabe...

Just dont want a ricer sound or too bad of a drone..

you guys haven't had a "real" loud car yet.... I use to have a supercharged s2k with a J's racing 70rr exhaust, titanium headerback as a daily driver... that was loud! sounded like a formula 1 car under bridges and tunnel. I consider my fsport exhaust to be a little quiet at times but at times it also gets kind of loud but nothing compared to the 70rr

^ if i had an s2000 i'd probably want it to be as loud as possible too, but not in a Lexus. (unless its an LFA)

Any muffler experts? How to make the QUIETEST exhaust. Less than stock even. I have an F Sport and that's getting on our last nerves. I am learning to start off in grandpa mode which helps a bit but past that the drone is especially loud(to us). To top it off acoustically the sound vibrates my right ear JUST SO where there's a bit of discomfort on long trips. Much like when your ear hurts in a pressurized cabin coming down from high altitude. That sort of discomfort. Yet ironically my ML system is on low(15 volume) as I don't like it loud. I can pinpoint it as Its coming from the rear back seat area too. ANY help making this exhaust silent would be helpful. Having the top down seems to help and the only thing I can think is this allows the sound to not echo or resonate inside the car as there is no roof. Thanks.

the way i see it from quietest to loudest axlebacks:

- fujitsubo
- tanabe mt or greddy sp or greddy se or invidia q300 (axleback)
- greddy evo3 or megan oe-rs or megan drift spec or magna flow
- lexus hks
- fsport
- hks hipower

catbacks will be different

but if any of you guys think any of the above exhausts are loud (fsport, hks hipower), then you shouldn't be modding your vehicle at all because lexus exhausts are quiet as hell vs. other jdm cars

of course an fsport with a midpipe (megan or invidia) will actually be really loud

I had an HKS-Hi Power exhaust system on my IS350 and it was way too loud for my taste, even with the muffler inserts. I now have a Fujitsubo Legalis-R installed and it sounds perfect with the F-Sport intake. Deep sounding but never obtrusive, or bothersome. The Fujitsubo exhaust tips are not very large.

Thank you. Thus should help. Yeah the car came with that option otherwise I'd never have added it.

What about the Borla exhaust , does anyone know how quite or loud it is vs all these other exhaust systems?
