I got the Invidia Q300 catback. Anyone know if i'll have a constant drone at cruising rpms/70-75mph?

What you guys think of the Q300 vs. others like Greddy SE or Tanabe?

M2 and tanabe are the quietest..but if you like quiet then keep the stock exhaust lol

F-Sport is way too loud and will cause drone. I just hope my Invidia Q300 w/ midpipes is going to sound good with little or no drone.

could be relative to the driver but i don't feel the f-sport is very loud at all. i mean it's loud but not like overpowering and i'm not getting drone

Drone is my main concern. Especially if there's drone in 6th gear at speeds between 65-80mph.

Well I drive city lol always under 65kh/h If i highway its maximum 100km/h so I don't experience drone. But holy **** m2 exhaust is like drone city.

i guess i always have my music playing so i don't notice it. i think the drone is barely noticeable in 6th at that speed

I had a HKS Hi-Power with Invidia mid... its drones like hell at 70-80mph its worst when your car is fully loaded with passengers... i replaced that with Greddy SP Elite with Invidia mid... no drone at all at 70-80mph but that comes at a price, felt power lost and not as bad *** sounding as the HKS Hi-Power... now only sounds like a louder G35 >_<"""... now i am looking for a new exhaust and found something from JDM market but cost an arm and a leg for it though...

I personally am not a fan of quiet exhaust or else why change the stock one in the first place. I have the Tanabe MT axle back and dont regret getting it. But after driving it and feeling like my car still was stock i decided to change it up a bit, took it to my exhaust shop and told the guy i wanted true dual pipes from the second cat-back's Increased the pipe diameter to 2.5" into a magnaflow 2.5" Y-Pipe collector onto my dual exhaust.

Tanabe MT is the closest to stock. Which is fairly quiet to begin with.

Fujitsubo, Tanabe and Greddy is the most quiet performance exhaust.. Greddy did discontiued the SP Elite and SP2 in North America but u can still order the JDM ones http://www.trust-power.com/01exhaust/cs_gts.html... ARK Performance DT-S exhaust is almost drone free but quality is kinda a problem with their exhaust..
