nice low 11 GS. My GS300 is coming out of the shop this week, PTE 74mm, Haltech Platinum 2000 EMS, R154 5 Speed, Aristo 2JZGTE, with 272 cams. I need tires and plan to install a little juice.

It's nice to see a thread like this, although is full of bench racers.
#1. Get out to the track and post REAL times. Forget 500hp=X at the track until YOU put that 500hp down ON the track.
#2. Forget what the mags SAY our car's weight is. I've personally weighed my car AT THE TRACK and it is over 4000lbs W/O my big butt in it. They are porkers that were never intended to run in the 1/4. It takes both a lot of HP, TQ, and luck to get our cars to run respectable times. Domestic and even smaller import guys take for granted that 4000 lbs is a LOT to overcome off the line. On the top end it's easy to run, but getting from 0 to about 1/8 takes TQ and HP and luck to get going good. Traction plays a part when you up the HP too, even with 10" wide tires in the rear (trust me).
#3. Compare apples to apples here. Don't compare a stripped race car that happens to have a Lex shell to a daily driven, big stereo having, big wheel wearing car. It's NOT the same. If someone has their full interior, stereo, body kit maybe, staggered wheels, etc....then it's not the same as having nothing but a seat and a harness.
#4. Give credit where it's due. Many of us have been laughed out of tracks before when we showed up with our "grandpa's car". Put the smack down on a few of them, and they stop flapping them gums rather quick. Atleast be glad that there are people out there running our platforms, pioneering on performance upgrades that later YOU may use, and generally representing the brand in a favorable light. I've gone to many tracks, not just 1/4 mi tracks either, where people literally come up and are awe struck by how "stock" everything is and the car just ran toe-to-toe with something it should never have. It's cool to run at the track and then circle around with your A/C on, tunes bumping a little, and just drive home w/o having to trailer queen her.
Anyway, I'm glad to see this kind of thread, because I'd always wondered what everyone's times were. I'd like to see it grow, so keep updating it.
Everyone have fun and be safe.

The 14.1 is a corrected time. We have a track that is very close to sea level and in the winter we have very low humidity, so our track is very "fast" compared to others. It could have been done at a "fast" track.

I got my car back and I'm loving it, it's a totally different car with the 272 cams now, so far the R154 seems to handle the power well, no real issues running 600RWHP on pump gas. I'm waiting on a new waste gate as mine cracked when I was installing a heavier spring, hope to have it back together this weekend.

keep us posed, I'm sure there are many who are interested to see how far you can push the trans and its longevity

No problem, Rick is a great guy. Very detail oriented and great with stand alone's too. I installed the new spring, running 1.3 bar with the boost controller turned off (spring pressure) right where I wanted it. Had some fun yesterday beating down a 911 Turbo coming back from Walmart lol.. I'm going to see how far I can push this tranny, if it breaks its only $300 or so for a good used one.

I dont own a gs but hope to someday. A buddy of mine jefftsai is a member on here not sure if has posted in here but he's run 13.1 and faster but he drives right off the street onto the track no slicks or drags he usally doesnt get traction until half way down the track lol. Last run he did was 13.1 at like 125 or so. Our cars are better highway cars than tracks cars...

Jeff is on the list, he is at 12.6, I think I seen the video / timeslip somehwere, I'm not sure of his MPH though. I'm going to update the list now. GS300PNP do you have a video of your 10 second run?
