Adam, are you going to be runnin drag radials or slicks? For my next run out there I think I'm going to throw on a set of drags. I currently have 305's in the back but I still catch no traction if I launch too hard. I'm also contemplating the idea of hooking up a 75 or 100 shot nitrous to spool me out of the hole and cut off once I hit 15psi or so...if I get the drag radials. No point to do that on street tires.

good luck and great job to all who get down the 1320 ft in 12's, 11's and 10's
thats awesome! It looks like 19" or 20" wheels and street tires too! Now thats impressive! more rubber and a longer burn out will get you in the 10-11's for sure.
This is a great thread, not only is the GS (all generations) classy but can perform and out perform other performance cars. Don't forget, this is a heavy car to run anything 12s and below!!!
what more can you ask for..........having the show and the go! and Airconditioning too!
As more and more put numbers like this up, other drivers will have second thoughts of running against a LEXUS GS ..............>>>4dr Sedan!!!! LOL
In my area, they no longer point, laugh or make stupid comments, they just say "watch out for that car" trying to find races as Real Street Drags sucks because no one whats to run against a 4 door and loose!
Best to all!!!

Haven't run my car because of the speed limiter, I won't be able to run any decent times trapping 112 so I haven't bothered with the track. On a rough tune I dyno'd 467whp so I think the power is there to break 11's. Not that this matters (I don't consider it indicative of any track time I may run) but I ran my buddies modded 07 Sti (ran an easy 12.7 the day before) from a slow roll (20mph) and pulled him pretty easy on low boost. I was hoping to run the car while I was back on the east cost but I forgot my SLD back in Washington so don't know if it's going to happen this season.

actually neither, I'm jst going to run my normal street tires. I need to buy some wheels and tires for the strip. I'm just going to have some fun and to see what she traps at. Maybe I can get into the 11's too.

Thats like saying Titan's Scion is a real Scion running 6's. That car is a pure drag car, nothing streetable about it. Back half'd solid rear axle, no interior.
