Default Im low on budget should i just get magnaflow mufflers?
I am very low on budget and i just wanted the deep smooth sound. Should i just get magnaflow mufflers? there is a youtube clip of a is250 with magnaflow mufflers go type in "is250 magnaflow mufflers" on youtube. Should i get that? i have an black 07 is250 I am not intersted in that extra performance or power, i just want the sound. Any suggestions?

i would say wait for a used Tanabe, they seem to be the best value-for-money and the exhaust note is really nice

I'm going Magnaflow custom- tips & mufflers, may remove secondary cats... Kattanh3 has a good suggestion...either way my custom will be louder than Tanabe...

The Magnaflow is louder than Tanabe. It's between the HKS Lexus and Hi Power in sound level. Looks though because you can choose your own tips, but I'm going to get Tanabe and do headers to remove primaries.

How much does it cost to get a set of magnaflows put on with tips??? i bet its not much cheaper than getting a Tanabe.

I actually looked into both options and the magnaflow setup (2 mufflers + 2 tips) would run about $300-$350 w/o installation. A used Tanabe is roughly same price but luckily for me, my exhaust is free courtesy of Invidia.

Tanabe is probably around $550-$600 and can do self install if you are short on cash.

i orderd 2 magnaflow mufflers online for about 50 each and got my magnaflow tips for 25 each.. install wont be that much

Magnaflow obviously makes more than one model of muffler, so it's not accurate to say it is absolutely louder than the Tanabe. I had a Magnaflow on my AE86 that was pretty loud and switched it for a different model, which is much quieter. If you are looking at Magnaflows, tell them what you want in terms of how quiet / loud and they should be able to make some good recommendations.
