Put me down for a set as soon as someone gets around the CEL issue.

On second thought, it might be possible that the secondaries might heat up quicker anyway with these headers just because of reduced mass.

Come to think of it... if you run CAT less headers with an OEM MID pipe, (assuming CEL issue is resolved) what possible issues will the Secondary CATs run into in the long term?? over heating?

Are they designed to last and work the same with out the Primary CATs there?

I hope to hear from our in house "Lexus Techs", since they have access to part(s) spec/data.

Is this going to fit on the is250awd because I think the header pipes are routed differently on the awd?

I still haven’t gotten the dyno emailed to me from my dyno session, I will have it up as soon as it is sent to me.

Toyota really puts a huge restriction on their exhaust manifolds; they all look the same for some reason and are all very very restrictive. I used to have a Solara back in the day, the v6 3.0 engine. Just a ypipe added 12whp, than someone later made a header system for it, and that made something like 40whp. Than there is the 2jz and the header I make for that engine, I was able to pull 25 whp out of that engine on an auto, the gains have been proven over and over on is300.net. Now looking at the is350, it has 11.8:1 compression, more aggressive cams, more displacement, and the same ****ty header design; I honestly will be surprised if it makes anything less than 30whp.

I'm all over one of these as soon as they are avail, are there any midpipes that bolt up to this, yet retain the oem muffler section? Not looking for a loud car, just power.

If minimum 30whp gains on the 350 turns out to be accurate, I WAS going to jump on them as soon as humanly possible, but since my car is in the body shop right now, that cost is going to delay my potential purchase of headers a bit.

As I said before, with the stock exhaust it is a very little louder than stock if anything.

that bc of the restrictive resonator and mufflers.. how would it sound if someone had a full exhaust and then added the headers.. i assume very loud

I would guess that the exhaust would be a little louder, but would have a better sound due to the equal length primaries. That's what happened with my old Acura.

Guys,

Mazzuri is not an approved CL vendor and I want to keep this valuable thread open. Please don't invite him to post group buys, post prices or send you details about sales on Club Lexus as that immediately causes issues for him. I've removed a few posts like this.

Mazzuri, please consider the invitation to become an approved CL vendor and support our forum and members. There's a lot of interest here in your products.

what setup do you think would be best for headers?

Also, has anyone ever used a hi-efficieny cat in CA and passed emission tests?
