Tanabe Exhaust Too Low?
#32
You know you can buy exhaust hanger's in 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes (at least that's all I've seen at O'Reilly). You could put 10mm on the long side and 20mm's on the short side. My Tanabe hangs pretty even but I wanted it a little higher so I put the 10mm's on, on just the two center one's. I also put them on because the durometer of the rubber seems a little harder so I hope it would move a little less. I've heard of poly hanger's but the local mass auto stores didn't have any.

I guess the sagging on the left side is common because it is heavier on that side being that the pipe is longer (?) Anyway, all of you have good ideas which I would be willing to try. As for the left pipe (not canister) being too low compared to stock, I guess it is normal for the Tanabe and I just won't worry about it. Thanks.

Axle back. No midpipe. From what I hear the tanbe is quiet

I had this issue with me Invidia q300
It also seems that the stock hangers allow our exhausts to bounce like basket *****....
My solution was to get hose clamps they're about $1.50 each.
Wrap it around the rubber hanger and tighten. This allows you to adjust the height as well as get rid of the bounce. They will also withstand the heat and last much longer than zipties.
Some ppl say it'll lessen the dampening that the rubber hangers provide, but tbh I dont notice any change in vibration
