30 HP! Wow. Didn't know thats what you get with good aftermarket headers. How come the stock headers would be so restrictive? So far Lexus did good designing efficient intake and exhaust.
Will these be lighter than stock too?

Okay, I stopped by Daniel's shop this afternoon, and after taking a look at the engine, he says replacement headers are definitely possible. He mentioned that the spacing is not as bad as he thought, so he's got a little room to work with. He also said that the stock exhaust manifold leaves a lot of room for improvement, so that's good news. His next step is to rent an IS350 to start development on the actual headers. I'll post if/when I hear more.

anyone thing it's possible to do something with the 250awd headers. i know we got a bunch of 350's here but i bet alot of us 250's would like the increase of power, especially me with the awd.
for everyone's knowledge the acuras are starved for good air flow. intake on those cars combined with headers get 30whp. hopefully it'll be just as good getting rid of the primary cats also.
also most of us with axle back exhausts will still have the secondary ats so technically we would still kind of be legal hahaha
