Just recently got a great deal on the SRT Race Built tranmission. The shifts and launches are quick and precise. The only bad thing about it is, under light throttle, like in stop and go traffic, it bangs in to gear when shifting 1-2 & 2-3. But it makes the car much faster. If I did not have sticky tires, it would chirp the tires when shifting.

do you have a 3.76 w/ lsd diff or/and TC2800?

Yes and No. The trans I got was used and did not come with the TC. I have a PI TC that I need to send to PI for repairs though. Thats why I was not worried about the trans not having a 2800 stall TC. So eventually I will have a PI TC in it. I am currently running the stock tc. I am wondering how much harder the shifts would be with the 2800 stall tc in it. Might not be needed in this trans. Mmmm, Decisions decisions.

Btw, Shane. Sorry I did not have a chance to chat with you at HIN a couple of weeks ago. We were right next to you guys too. Next time.

So - I called SRT , they told me that they would sell me the rods ,but the rods are only good for 3-4 and 4-5 shift , in addition the vb upgrade is going to give the hard clunk when going from park/neutral to drive/reverse, which i think accelerated my broken engine mt. so if anyone has input on pros and cons of vb upgrade , I'd lovet to hear it, if i can do vb upgrade without hurting light throttle "luxury" i'd do it in a second but i've heard otherwise
