Default Check Engine light

i had an check engine light on then i check the code p0420---Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) anyone know whats this??thankz

I am at work but I can check when I get home in my manual.

Did you so a search on it and see if anyone else has discussed it??

One way to check is using the Lexus scanner. It would be able to tell the voltage before after cat.

that should be the o2 sensor after the cat on bank one, see the picture in the other post for which is bank one. that's the sensor that measures air after the cat, and since the codeyou are getting is a cat code it has to be the sensor that measures after the cat. and the code already told you it was on bank one. hope this helps!!
