Tanabe Medalion Touring | GS400 | Videos!
Howdy CL!
Here are the videos of the exhaust I promised 4000 miles ago. This is a Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust on a '99 GS400 with an SRT intake/ecu combo. I wanted something on the subtle side (no tin cans dragging behind, thank you), yet I still wanted you to do a double take when this Lex rolls up along side you and gives you a little taste. Compliments have been great to date. The best was when I rolled into QuikTrip late one night and there were a couple guys talking outside of their Mustangs and Magnums. I got out and that one guy said, "Wow. What kind of car is that?" I told him. His responses was classic: "No s*^t! I didn't know a Lexus could sound like that ... rock on!"
Anyway, enjoy! As always, let me know what you think. I'll add some "fly by" videos later when I get the chance.
Inside the car (windows up and sunroof closed)
Outside the car (engine start and rev)
Oh, one last thing. Mad props to Todd at TM ENGINEERING for getting this done. This is a great exhast and I'm so happy I went with this one over the other Tanabe options for the GS400.

The exhaust sounds great. Deep, but definitely not at all obnoxious like some. Good choice, and thanks for the video (be sure to give us a flyby one too...that should be cool ).

If you're seriously interested in getting it, give Todd a call at TM ENGINEERING. He's the one I bought it from and I highly recommend him (check my sig)!
Here is the exhaust on my car:

Sounds and looks great which makes me very excited since I've got the exact same setup in my garage waiting to be installed next wednesday! For anyone interested in the exhaust check with Steve Ganz at Carson, I got mine from him for $773 shipped, definitely worth it. Big for Steve.
