Guys anthoner question? as far as changing the spark plugs...is it ok to just go with the wire set from the dealership or would u reccomend another set of wires?

did this yesterday and was about to give up because we couldnt find the front two We were calling other people to confirm that gs is indeed 6 cylinders haha

What is the purpose of removing the lettered wires if the plugs arent under them? Just asking, I will be doing this soon and dont want to mess up.

Didn't I read somewhere that some precaution is necessary to avoid spilling coolant from a coolant line while doing the plug change?

I did mines in roughly 2 hours.

The part that took the longest was cleaning the area of the brittle wire loom protector that broke off and fell into the hole next to the spark plugs. I got my kirby with attachments and sucked them clean...but some were wedged in there...so I needed a small pick or screwdriver to un-wedge it out. You need to do this before removing the plugs cuz you don't want any of that stuff falling into the hole to the engine.

I bought some new wire loom protector to replace those that fell apart.

Make sure to torque each plug at 13 ft/lbs...spec torque.

lol same here...broke two clips in the process...love my car a little less after this...and the pedal position sensor for the throttle **** the bed in the process...$150 spark plug change...

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what is the pedal position sensor and where is it? Did you break it or changed it? Are there adjustments needed for it?

do the plugs take iridium or platinum and also do they need to be gapped? if so what are the specs to gap them at.

I think they're the platinums. I used the TM's and the stockers once before but either way I never had to gap them. They come pre-gapped
