Default 2JZGE goes 10.17 @ 132.7 mph

My car is a Supra... still not much different than a SC300 So figured some of you guy's would be interested.

Completely stock engine except for 3mm head gasket and ARP head studs. SP73 turbo, little shot of nitrous, all controlled by a AEM ecu. I have a vid of the pass that I'll post later.

60' - 1.43
1/8 et - 6.54
1/8 mph - 105.8 mph
1/4 et - 10.17
1/4 mph - 132.7 mph

There is a 9 sec pass hiding in there once I get the ignition fixed. I made 4 other 10 sec passes in the 130's today.

Sweet man- good work. Eventually I would like my car to do something similar to this. Keep up the good work and post some pics of the engine bay if you could.

Outstanding!! Let us know when that video is up.
Import wars is going on now at edgewater but I'm at work as always. I'm curious to see what my sled will cut.

Tim - there are pictures on SF and nonturbo.com, but maybe MrH will post them here too.

Keep it up DaveH!

Gonna supercharge my 1UZ and run it higher and higher til it blows... afterwards I think I might get a GE and give that a try.. will just need the bellhousing so hey, why not? Looks like good cheap fun care of Dave's kit.. excellent product!

Then build a 1UZ outside the car and go for an 8 maybe...

Sweet! How do you like that turbo setup Dave? I was talking to Lar at SP and I think that is the turbo I want.

Where are you getting full boost at? What are your dyno numbers on pump and race gas PSI?

Thanks for any help you can give!

The wideband O2 at the dyno died in the middle of tuning my car, so I was unable to tune at more than ~23psi of boost, so that is all I could safely run. My *little* shot of nitrous is a 140 shot.

TurboSC: The SP73 is a little too big to be a really good street turbo. I put a .68a/r on it to help spool, and it made it a lot better. I'll have to look at my logs to see what rpm I get full boost... prob around 5k I believe.

DaveH

oh, engine pic...

Thumbs up

Not only is it fast, but beautiful as well! Nice looking engine bay.

Is that a VeilSide Surgetank?
