did you have to cut any of the exhaust bolts to install it? (if you did youll understand what I mean, and if youdidn`t this probably means nothing to you)

Your manifold looks better than mine, dave must be using a new coating.

No cutting of any exhaust bolts.

Actually I screwed up the manifold one my first install attempt. When installing the turbo the compressor outlet was hitting the manifold slightly. My freind suggested we heat the manifold to get some clearance, little did we know the compressor housing can be infintely adjusted.

Attached is a pic of the damage we caused to the manifold:

Dave's welder repaired my mistake and the manifold looked perfect again.

Sorry bout that Alex, some of the earlier manifolds we made required the exh studs to be trimmed slightly. We changed the jig a little so the newer manifolds don't need that.

no prob dave, your mani is still good. I was just looking and it appeared that you had changed the design and coating, so I thought I would confirm it. Dave I also got a TE-60 with a .63 precision housing in the mail. Alchohol is also in the mail, can we say 15 psi? Already at 6 psi the car feels strong as hell. I finally figured out what happened to my car, but I will tell you off of this thread as to not hi-jack it. I did beat a mercury capri running 18 psi by about 4 or 5 cars Anyways good luck with the 51and Dave's manifold, Dave is defenitly A STANDUP guy!!!

I'm also running a DaveH manifold... tho i got mine without the coating since iwas going to use a Garret based turbo...

very impressed thus far... running 6psi and the car runs great at 4psi i beat a 97 Mustang GT with all the typical boltons and a couple more advanced mods... was supposed to run 14.4 in the 1/4 mile and i beat him by 3 cars up to 80mph

gadget: Thanks. I will need it.

Boredguy77: I would like to hear what happened, or how you fixed the problem you were having.

Onelasttry: It is the stock airbox, stock filter. I left it on with the maf, so I could drive the car to an exhaust shop to get the ic pipes made.
