Default Closed loop tuning - HELP!

Ok, so i have 42.5 lb/hr injectors ( approx 412cc), an SC400 MAF, and an S-AFC. I dont have a wideband setup yet, all i have is the lil autometer a/f guage. And an EGT.

I am going to take it to get dyno tuned, but i was wondering if there is any way to tune the low end at all? I am running really rich because i shoot out a black smoke between shifts, (more rpms= more smoke). .....Even though i have no cats, i figured it wouldnt have so much smoke and stink so bad.

Can the wideband on the dyno help tune the low end too? What are my options besides going vpc, or AEM. I am going to go AEM later, but i want to tune as good as i can with the S-AFC if possible.

how to tune in closed loop? is it possible a little?

Yes it will help you tune the low end the rich/lean guage is just a light show ,on the dyno with a wideband
tune for about 11:5 to 12:5 afr and you should be allright.
