where to find a built auto tranny for sc300
i have a turbo sc300 auto, and in about a month im going to have around 450-500hp on the car, and im pretty sure the stock tranny wouldnt be able to handle that, so i was wondering does anyone know a place that can built my tranny. i also could make my car a 5sp, but i dont know if i should or not. because i dont want it to give me problems later on.
so if you guys know a place that can built auto trannys let me know. ( if you know their # or website post it)

dont you basically need a valve body recailibration and a higher stall torque converter to help handle the extra power? I was thinking you'd really only need an ENTIRE new transmission if you were going for like 600+hp

If Level Tens reputation is accurate I would stay about as far away from them as possible.

We just started tearing into a n/a tranny for R&d on it. Soon we will be able to provide a good affordable tranny upgrade for teh 2jzge. The turbo kit is almost done being fabbed.. FMIC is much bigger than standard spearco stuff on other kits.... I don't get to check these forums much so email zohair@boostlogic for more info

2 Places, if your on the west coast then check out http://www.phoenixhardparts.com
Sound Performace does good work (gen 2).
You could always do the Turbo 400 conversion, not sure if your looking to go that route.
And stay as far away as possible from Level 10.

Also, if you choose to use a AEM ECU, then you can use the TT auto tranny. Just a couple of extra wires to run.
BTW, I have had spectacular luck with my SP 1st gen trans. 3 years now and over a half dozen 10 sec passes at the strip. Still works like when new.
