Default T/C for SC300 vs. SC400

I see alot of people putting aftermarket T/Cs in their sc400s, now im wondering, there arent very many sc300 with them, so is there not alot of gains for sc300s with aftermarket T/Cs compared to the sc400s?

Im looking to buy a sc300 in the next couple months, and if their isnt any noticable gains for the sc300s with a aftermarket T/C, I guess I would have to look for a sc400.

I`m getting ready to put TC in my sc300. most people would rather spend the money on a turbo than a TC on thier 300's. and the dragon TC is made specially for the 400 and as I understand requires some modifications to work on the 300, but I am not sure on that.

Also a lot of people concerned with performance prefer the 5 speed sc300 over the automatic. If they wanted automatic performance, they get the sc400.
Again, I say a lot, but not all.

The gains of having a TC on a stock SC300 are minimal. You are better off getting something like headers and some fuel management than going through the trouble of installing the TC. I had a 2800 stall TC on the stock SC300 and it didn't do anything noticable. I might get the 4000 rpm stall, get a built tranny so I can run more boost or just bite the bullet and do the 6spd swap. The Getrag is sounding pretty good right now though
