Default Exhaust :: removing resonators

Has anyone ever removed the second set of resonators off of the sc400, I think they are resonators, anyway this is my second one and I love the sound of the engine this way with the factory mufflers. Question is, muffler shop says that factory mufflers are clogged and flooded with water, this is my second sc400 and I thought that this one was weaker than my 92, thought maybe this one was because of higher mileage. Does anyone know if the factorys are similar to triple chamber aftermarkets, or will the v8 be too loud, still want that smooth sound you know. Any help would be appreciated.
