Default tuner in NYC who can install AEM EMS

know of anyone around NYC area where I can get AEM EMS installed on a 92SC400?
I guess the better question is.... AEM says it can be installed in minutes on any car...... a standalone that gets intalled in minutes is something I've never heard of....

I'm looking ito getting the AEM EMS so I can in the near future go with the 5 or 6speed manual tranny. from what i understand the ECU for both engine and tranny is in 1unit so unless you go standalone on engine management you will not be able to introduce a manual tranny to the car... elaborate anyone?

thanks

The only way they can be installed in minutes is if there is one designed for your car. I am not sure they designed one for the SC400 ... so you would have to get the one that is universal and you gotta splice up your harness, etc ... will take quite awhile and a lot of diagrams and knowledge.

Doesn't that year of SC400 have two distributors? That alone would probably take a bit of time figuring out how to map everything over to the AEMs ignition inputs. I really doubt it would be anywhere near plug-n-play. I am confident that you could get it running with the AEM, but if I had my guesses, even a good shop could fiddle with it for a solid week and not get it right, especially with the transmission networking stuff.

Angel, did you ever get your idle sorted out? Is is running as good as OEM, yet?
