Default Two small ideas for the SC400

1) Has anyone tried boring their throtle body? Do you think the results would be worth it?

2) Throtle body spacer? Maybe do a 1/2 inch spacer in aluminum. The Honda people seem to have luck with that mod.

I'm just throwing ideas out there so any input is welcome.

Em, do you know who had them? I did a search on spacers and didn't get anything. I know they make them for the Tundra. Any chance that would fit?

I tried by-passing the TB coolant lines so the thing didn't heat the air inside,it did make a difference in how the car ran,but without any way to tune the fuel/air mixture after doing any changes to the intake tract, there's not a whole lot that you can get away with.
I believe the stock MAF is going to be a restriction before the TB.

I've been thinking about a spacer too. Here's the best info I found yet

If I'm going to do it I'll do it right...ok well maybe the second time!
As far as boring out the TB that's a can of worms with the ECU.

Very true but, I've got the Weapon R piggyback and can program it to compensate so that is not really a concern for me. Is the stock MAF so restrictive that boring the throttle body won't help?
