Na-T Parts List
I am new here and have researched a lot about turboing the 2jz-ge and about swaps. I have pretty much decided to just turbo the ge for now and if it blows, then just swap in the gte. My dad already has a '94 Supra that is full BPU and has an T76 and supporting mods in the mail. I just like the idea of a luxury car being really fast. I have yet to buy a donor SC300. I would prefer the '95-'97 body style because it looks better and I would really love to have a '97 - yet they are very rare. I am just making sure I have a full grasp on how much is involved in this process.
Thanks for the help,
Daniel

Click on the FAQ section. And ... as long sa you do everything properly, you won't need to worry about blowing the GE engine.

92 to 95 are the easiest years to mod. They are OBDI. Later OBDII cars are more difficult to deal with if you're going for 3xx or 4xx rwhp. If you're going full boat, it doesn't really matter, cause you'll have an AEM or Haltech ECU.
The Tranny tunnel and transmission were changed somewhere along the line, later models with more clearance for a 6spd swap. The 5spd tranny also had some dimensional changes over the years.
