Default fuel delivery and management for 2jzgte

I'm collecting all the necessary components for doing a 2jzgte swap in my sc. What have you guys used when doing the swap? I have a to4r hks kit and will be using 720 injectors but have not decided on management or anything else. Would I save money in buying a kit? Thanks for the help.

i posted the same question a month or so ago & angel replied w/ his set up or check his web site
the 2 in tank pumps tend to be a hassel - i'm probably going external w/ a rpm dependant fuel
pump controler (i'm still working on my car) - when i finish i'll post .

The 2 pumps might be a hassel but there is a reason why all the high hp supras run that setup.

fuel management use the vpc it's easy to use and proven
as for twin pump it's cheaper and quiet compared to those big inline pump

When installing the twin pumps make sure you use 10 gauge wire to feed the power source through a relay. Those two pumps suck a lot of current and will melt 16 gauge wires.

the two main fuel management choices are vpc + (afc, afr, gcc one of the three) or aem ems. I would say if you have the $$ go for the ems youll be amazed by it capabilities.

Now if I could only find out for sure if I can use the AEM on a '99, i'd be all over it.

alright ladys i did not mean to open that door for "my fuel pump is better
than your fuel pump" stuff - i've done plenty of the PHR stage 2 kits in
supras w/ twin pumps to know - how are all you guys doing the lines
in/out of the tank? same as angel - using the vapor return as the 2nd
feed or drilling a hole in the tank w/ fittings & braided hose? on the supras
you run braided hose from the pump access cover (top of tank) & out the
bottom of the car - on the sc the tanks inside the car & theres a whole
can't get there from here problem. i also would appreciate any advice
on the "proven install method" - the way i explained is the supra method
& 90% of their cars are done that way. thanx for any help to us fuel
challanged individuals

If I had to do it all over again I wold go with AEM unit, it just didn't come out yet when I did mine...$1,200 for VPC + $350 for GCC that's almost $1,600 it'll get the job done but AEM has a lot more potential.

Supra Dr,

I drilled a hole and used a -8 banjo fitting with a 90 degree bend went all the way up to the front. Had a Y inside the tank for the two pumps to feed into the -8

thanx dohc31 on he tip -kinda what i was thinking - but after
talking w/ jarret @ phr & a few recent articles in mag's -
pros/cons of twin pumps (i've experianced the CONS 1st
hand) i'm doing the big external to feed the pig. - if i can
hear it i know its working! - thanks to everyone who has
replied to my posts - john
btw - since i highjacked this thread - the vpc/gcc or afc
combo is much more "user" friendly - usually can find the
pair used in the 900.00 range. use them to get the car up &
running - if you decide later on you need more - sell them
(usually for what you paid) & go aem then. things should
be done in stages - that why if you have a problem - you
can go back to where it began. just my 10 cents
