Angry MTF vs ATF how to tell difference ?

Hi, I just got my 60k service done. On the sheet, I see automatic transmission fluid OTH (others?)
I know I was suppose to get this fluid changed or flushed but my car is a 5 speed! Shouldn't it be MTF instead of ATF ?
Is there any way for me to tell if they've used ATF or MTF? what are the differences that I can use to distinguish... the shifting now feels a bit more notchy than before so that's why I'm concerned.

Stick your finger in the fill hole, and see what color it is. If its cool-aid red, then its ATF. Pancake syrup color is Manual oil.

You'd really have to be a complete moron to get them confused, as the way they are pumped in would make it difficult too.

I'd get it checked asap. The wrong tranny fluid can cause damage. FWIW, I switched to Redline MT90. Works like a charm. Have run this fluid for two plus years now. Shifts smoother than stock.

5-speeds shouldn't have a dip stick! They should have a fill hole on the side of the tranny.

Granted I don't own a manual Lexus, but I've never seen a manual car in general w/ a dip stick.

You gotta jack up the car and get under it. Some even have a little "window" to see if it has enough oil in it.
