Default 92 SC key and security system Q's

I have a single key for my 92 SC400 with the lock/unlock button.

I also have a set of keys for my parts cars. 1 push button ignition key, a second broken one, and a 3rd non button key. Is there any way to separate the push button portion of the key from my parts car, attach to a new key tang and reassign to my driver? Seems unlikely but I thought I'd ask.

Additionally, I see a keypad for the Lexus security system on the bottom of my instrument cluster. How does this system work, how do I arm/disarm? Since I'm about to drop close to 2K on a new stereo/navigation system I'm thinking I should have some form of security. Should I just go aftermarket?
