Default Blinker flashing very fast

whats up CL, ever have your car running so perfect you just womder what will break next? Todays my day... (blinker/window regulator in same day)

Few weeks ago my light out indicator came on the dash but would go off/on once in awhile. I checked all rear/brake lights and were working great as I thought it was an indicator for REAR lights only.

Last night my left blinker began hyper blinking and not sure why at first. I then later noticed the front blinker was not working on that side then I noticed my LED parking lights and lower "cornering lights" were not working on either side either.

Anybody run across the same issue? I plan replacing the blinker bulb when it stops raining but was wondering if this issue can be tied into the parking/cornering lights or that itself is a seperate new problem.

Thanks

Are the parking lights your only LEDs? A lot of the LED bulbs don't fit as snug in the socket and can result in a sporadic loss of signal, possibly explaining the dash warning light coming and going.

Is your car lowered? That many lighting issues simultaneously makes me think your wiring harness through the left fender well may have gotten chewed up.

Thanks for the response. I also have LEDs in the small orange lights in the fenders which were working at the time.

This morning my LEDs are working again and currenty no dash warning light however I am still experiencing the hyper blink and w/o a blinker. The lower "fog" cornering lights are also still out on both sides. My car is not lowered but I also have a phillips HID kit (headlights) installed plugged straight into the stock harness. The kit has been in for about a year now w/o issues so not expecting it to be an issue.

I would just go with standard bulbs in all the parking/turn lights. I don't think the SC has issues with charging or low voltage so I don't really see a need to go LED. When the indicator turned on for me periodically, it either ended up being a bad battery (mine wasn't holding a good charge over a few days) or one of the bulbs had issues (though they all lit up). I just ended up replacing all parking/brake/reverse bulbs and swapped in a new battery and the issue went away.

On a side note, always try the stock recommended bulbs first to determine if you actually have a problem or not before overthinking it. After you've established if its vehicle or part related, go from there.
