Unfortunately no, but if you look at the post that t2d2 linked to you can see the duct I am referring to in post 22
This duct on my 93 ran right up to the back of the bumper
I just cut the bottom half of it off and mounted it right back into position
Gives the intake all the air it can handle, and no money spent

Since your airbox is already cut, the only way you can block that hot sucking air into it is to simply cut 2 pieces of abs plastic and simply mount them one on the top and one a side, so it only gets the fresh air from the front of the car just an idea for something that already been done
