Default Do I have to remove the driveshaft to install rear upper control arms?

I own a 1998 Supra twin turbo 6 speed with 51K miles on it. Last year I installed KW-Variant 3 coilovers on it. Years ago I bought some upper and lower control arms off of another 1998 Supra Turbo with 33K miles on it. So I spent the better portion of the weekend removing all of the upper and lower front control arms, sway bar and bushings, brake dust shield, brakes etc and trying to install them on my 1998 Lexus SC400...... DO I really have to remove both rear driveshafts in order to change out my rear upper control arms? Do I just need to remove my SC400 front brake dust shields in order to install my Supra T.T. calipers and rotors? Do I also need to change out my caliper brackets with those from a Supra T.T. I can get over how many suspension parts are on these cars. The rear sway bar end links 100% did not fit , so I guess I will be searching for a pair of these also.

I removed all my dust shields in order for the calipers to fit, they come off easy by bending them back and forth.

Default Do I really need to drop the driveshaft to install rear upper control arms??

I got my 98 Supra T.T. struts, springs, front sway bar end links, and front control arms with relatively no issues. I also cut off the front dust shields to make room for my Supra Turbo front calipers. The rear struts and coil springs went in easily but the rear upper control arms did not appear to be an easy install. The manual suggests disconnecting both driveshafts and both center exhaust portions. DO I REALLY NEED TO DO ALL THAT EXTRA WORK TO INSTALL THE REAR UPPER CONTROL ARMS??? Do I need to purchase new caliper mounts and bolts is I am planning on using both front and rear Supra calipers? I have searched my A$$ off and have yet to see either of those two questions answered in previous threads that I have come across and read. So sorry in advance if anyone has discussed this previously but I honestly have not been able to find the threads discussing these two questions I have.

I took my upper.rear control arms out and rebushed them while I had the rear knuckles out for new.bearings. I did not remove axles or drive shaft from the car. All I did.was bend the wheel well out of the way a bit, then bent it back in place when done. Some recomend to lower sub.frame a bit to.do this.

I removed the rear upper arms without removing the axles. The bolts are a bit tough to get to, buy if you have a good amount of tools you should be ok.
