Oil light keeps flashing?

okay, I'm bringing this back from the dead in order to save some space. heh.
My car is doing the same thing and oil level is fine.
When I'm on the highway and it's around 2800k-3000k rpm, I can shove the tranny into neutral (SC400, btw) and once it drops down to idle speed the light goes away.
But, like always, when I put it back in gear, a minute or two later it comes on then flashes off.
Some stay on longer than others.
Any way to confirm a faulty sensor?

If your oil level is not below half on the dipstick, and there is no sludge and/or you cleaned the sludge off and it still does it, then you will have to replace it.

I highly doubt its an issue with his oil pump, drop your pan and clean that sending unit, in this case Sea foam just isnt enough. You have to physically clean the unit.

I hear ya on that.
Car idles at about 500 in gear stopped, 650-700 neutral. I will check out that sending unit asap. I bought another quart of oil JUST incase. Why? I have no reason, things just work that way. haha
Personally, I wouldn't ever use seafoam. Unless it was a POS car that I wanted to play real life spy hunter with.

Quick question on my 2002 gs300 I just did a oil change like a month ago and the oil light keeps flashing when I come to a stop or I'm not driving . Say I'm parked up the light would turn on and then as soon as I put it in gear and drive it comes off , but this morning driving home from work I saw that while I'm driving it came up . And I checked the dip stick and it was like nothing was on it , if anyone has answers reply ASAP
