Default Two vs One

I just had my body kit put on and my NAT is a single exhaust setup. So I have this big vacant hole in the rear end where a 2nd muffler should be. I'm ready to add a second muffler to the exhaust, mainly because it's way too loud. It drones pretty bad in the cabin from 2000-3000. It has a mandrel 3" turbo back exhaust, high flow cat and a oval muffler (similar to magnaflows). I know the 2nd muffler is more weight and more restriction but it looks "off" without it and it's too loud.

Can anyone tell me how much quieter an NAT will be w/ dual mufflers, if both muffs are still pretty high flow? I'm worried that I'll spend the time and money to rework the existing exhaust and it only be 5% quieter lol. I don't care about restriction because my WG is an open dump so at full boost I'm not worried about power loss. And even if there were, that's why we have boost controllers! What say you!?

i have dual mufflers with a single straight through resonator and its probably one of the most quiet modded car ive heard (or rather not hear).

my buddies have said when they are driving next to me i dont sound any different then the stock cars around me when cruising and light throttle around town

i had a hks single muffler before and it felt about x2 louder then the current level

Sounds wicked fast. Thanks for the reply and especially the vid. Mine is 3 times louder. I may just try a 2nd muffler first because that's probably a tad more quiet than I'd like. But again, thanks for answering exactly what I needed to know/hear!

forgot to mention i have dual straight through oval magnaflows, longest i could fit in the rear (for most sound absorption), i guess im getting older and i dont mind it being more quiet now :P
