'92 SC300 Electronics Woes. At my wits end
#16
Greenbeast, please call us back soon if you want this shipped back to you today. We left a voicemail over an hour ago.
Your ECU is working perfectly in our test vehicle. At this point we have replaced the capacitors and cleaned up any mess. The total is $99 along with the overnight shipping charges we talked about earlier this week. If you would like us to replace the additional components that come with the $149 repair service let us know.
The only problem is that you have a 1992 SC300 and you sent us an ECU for a 1995 SC300. There is a check engine light for the sub O2 sensor.
Again, the car runs and idles perfectly at this point, no charging issues. If you want it back by tomorrow our FedEx express comes in a couple hours.

So to wrap this up and post a fix for anyone that comes looking. I got the ECU back a few days ago and I have been putting the car through it's paces and evidently it did originate at the ECU. Tanin took care of me and if they want to they can post exactly what their tech did and what was actually wrong. I'm happy and it is working great. Thanks for the hlep everyone!
