Default should i replace the clutch and cable?

As stated in my other thread, i snapped off my clutch pedal on my SC300. So my theory is Wear and Tear on the pedal? Or a worn out clutch which means more pressure on the pedal and cable, hence the pedal just snapping off. But does that mean that my cable might go out soon too?

Should i replace the cable along with a new clutch?
