Default Used tranny

Recently put in low mileage used tranny in 1995 sc400. Had tranny fluid changed and filter cleaned. Everything looked and worked good for a short time, then it began to take a long time to shift from park to drive;especially with the engine cold. What could be the problem? If this one(tranny) is toast, where can I find a decent used or re-man?
- Thanks In Advance

No. Not at all. Once it goes into gear, it doesn't overheat or slip like the previous one

Default Used Tranny Again

CT here. Recently had the pan, gasket and filter replaced. Everything looked pretty darned good. So now I'm really scratching my head. It still takes a loooonnng time to go into gear. The car has to idle at least half-hour before any forward motion happens. So I took it to a shop. The mechanics there offered me a pretty decent deal on installing Rostra Controls shift solenoids. Are we on the right track?
