Default 93 sc400 ignition/fuel issue

Posted about a month back about issues I was having with my SC.

To sum it up:
Car is limping. Virtually no acceleration. Idle is super low and near death.

Things I've noticed:
1st TB plate is stuck open
Fairly loud sucking sound coming from TB.
Smells of gas strongly when running. White smoke/gas smell coming from exhaust.
All spark plugs were changed about 10k ago including wires. But the plugs were black and smelled of gas.
Unplugged maf. Idle was slightly better but still no acceleration.
Fuel pump sounds like it's running right.
Car has only been ran in idle a handful of times with 1/4 tank but its sitting on E now.
No leaks anywhere.

What I have done so far:
Changed spark plugs
Replace fuel pump

I've read a whole mess of different threads but I don't know what to do. No CEL at all unless maf is unplugged.
Any ideas?

Try unplugging 1 ignition coil at a time, there are only 2. If nothing changes when you unplug one of them pretty good chance it is that ignition coil. The first "throttle body" you see all the way open is the traction control and will normally be open all the way. Simple and cheap try this first and report back this is a common problem on these cars. Raw fuel is probably because you have no spark in one set of 4 cylinders. Good luck.

Your answer right there^ Your drivers side ignition coil failed. $50 later you'll be back on all 8 cylinders.

Reporting back. I found a pretty lovely thread that gave me alot of troubleshooting.

I cleaned my IACV and my idle is where it is supposed to be now. Still no acceleration.

I can here to post that and saw the replies so I checked them both. The car died both times I pulled one out....

Update two: tried to start it with one coil unplugged. Started but died with driver out. No start at all with the other one out.. Are both my coils done for?

Sounds like both your coils are fine...

Have you done anything with the ECU yet?

No I have not messed with the ECU yet. I don't understand though, shouldn't it run still with one unplugged if the other is alright?

Sorry, my bad. I misunderstood what you were saying. I was gonna say that sounded exactly like the symptoms of a bad ignition coil.

Glad you're back on the road.
