SC300 Clutch Replacement
While everyone was out enjoying Christmas, I was hard at work Changing my worn out OEM clutch. 23 years and 140k and the disk is gone.
The DIY's on this were great however there's a couple things they didn't mention.
First off you don't have to drop the exhaust completely from the car. Only remove the axle back section and rear hangars. I have a Cali spec car so I was NOT removing the 3rd O2 sensor for this job. There's a body brace that's held in by 4 bolts that can be removed, the exhaust pushed down and when unbolted, the driveshaft can fit through this gap. My photos should be attached. The flywheel took a beating and that took awhile to resurface.
